Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial direction setting device having a worm drive device capable of implementing the rapid return from the set position exclusive for the device by a simple means so as to reduce the length of a set passage.
SOLUTION: This axial direction setting device comprises a rotatable set disk 1, pressure disk 17 which is held by a rotation preventive means 20 by fixing the rotation thereof and movable in the axial direction, and a rotating means 15 for the set disk 11 in which ball-like grooves 22 and 28 are formed in the surfaces of the set disk 11 and the pressure disk 17, the grooves are extended in the circumferential direction, and inclined to store balls 23, and the rotation preventive means 20 is releasable from the pressure disk 17.
