Title:
AXIAL FLOW COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3927886
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow compressor capable of improving efficiency of a moving blade and surge characteristic over a wide operating range including a partial load range.
SOLUTION: In an axial flow compressor including a rotating hub provided with a plurality of moving blades on an outer circumference surface thereof, and an outer circumference casing opposite to blade tips of the moving blades, a concave surface part of which section shape is established according to at least flow in speed of fluid (curved surface smoothly connecting a starting point established between a leading edge of the moving blade and 30% axis code and an endpoint established between 50% axis code and 80% axis code) is formed on a part of an opposite surface to the blade tip of the moving blade in the outer circumference casing. Consequently, since compressional wave is generated in upstream of shock wave, Mach number flowing into shock wave can be reduced. Shock wave is relaxed, shock wave loss is reduced and development of low momentum zone is suppressed.
