PURPOSE: To provide an axial load transfer device for a rear double-axle vehicle, capable of automatically varying an axial load acting on a driving axle, depending on an empty and loaded conditions, under the elimination of a load acting on an air spring.

CONSTITUTION: Two systems of pipelines 51a and 51b are provided for introducing residual pressure and the air having operation pressure higher than the residual pressure to an air spring 21 used to vary an axial load acting on a driving axle 10. Also, the pipelines 51a and 51b are selected with a three-way selector valve 55, depending on on/off pressure signals outputted from a leveling valve 30 depending on empty and loaded conditions. Furthermore, the internal pressure of the air spring 21 is kept constant at a selected pressure value via the feed and exhaust operations of a residual pressure valve 53 and an operating pressure valve 54 laid in each of the pipelines 51a and 51b.
