PURPOSE: To improve abrasion resistance and improve the workability at the time of manufacture by forming plunger shoes slid on the sliding face of a swash plate with an aluminum-silicon alloy containing silicon at a specific ratio.
CONSTITUTION: Multiple cylinder bores 7 are formed on a cylinder block 6 integrally rotatably supported on a drive shaft 3 at a preset interval on the same circumference, and ball joints 8a fitted with plunger shoes 9 are formed at one end of plungers 8 inserted into the bores 7. The plunger shoes 9 are slid on the sliding face 10a of a swash plate 10 inclinably supported in a casing 1, and the fluid sucked from an intake passage 17 by the reciprocating movement of the plunger 8 along the swash plate 10 is boosted and discharged from a discharge passage 18. The plunger shoes 9 are integrally formed with a single material of an Al-Si alloy. The content of Si in the Al-Si alloy is set within the range 10-60wt.%.
