Abstract:
To prevent service life shortening of base material of a turbine shroud even when a heat shield coating is peeled off and falls off.
The turbine shroud 3 of an axial-flow turbine 1 comprises the base material 4 on which the heat shield coating 5 such as ceramics is formed. A number of through holes 4a are perforated in the base material 4 of the shroud 3, and a number of blind holes 5a communicating with the though holes 5a are perforated in the heat shield coating 5. It is preferable for the blind holes 5a that holes 5a of different depths are intermingled.
