NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (one or two of X, Y and Z are N and the other is CH; R1 and R2 are H, lower alkyl or β-hydroxyethyl; n is 2 or 3) and an acid addition salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: N-β-Dimethylaminoethyl 5-hydroxybenzo[f]pyrido[3,4-b]quinoxaline-6- carboxamide.
USE: An antitumor agent.
PREPARATION: Ethyl 3-hydroxy-1,4-dihydro-1,4-dioxo-2-naphthoate shown by formula V as a starting compound is made into a compound shown by formula IV and reacted with a compound shown by formula III to give a compound shown by formula II or the compound shown by formula V is reacted with N-trimethylsilylimidazole and then the compound shown by formula III to give the compound shown by the formula II, which is reacted with a compound shown by formula IV to give a compound shown by formula I.
