Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an azeotrope showing high solvent performance capable of removing a flux (residue) without damaging a base to be washed, which contains a specified difluorodichloroethane and methanol or ethanol.
CONSTITUTION: This azeotrope is formed of (A) a mixture of (i) about 87-92(wt)% (preferably, about 89.5%) of 1,1difluoro-2,2-dichloroethane (HCFC) and (ii) about 13-8% (preferably, about 10.5%) of methanol, or (B) a mixture of (i) about 94-97% (preferably about 95.4%) of HCFC and (ii) about 6-3% (preferably about 4.6%) of ethanol.
