Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel azimuth propeller.SOLUTION: An azimuth propeller comprises: a drive rotation shaft for driving a propeller; and at least one thrust bearing mechanism and at least one radial bearing mechanism for supporting the drive rotation shaft and receiving radial force and axial force of the drive rotation shaft. At the time, at least one or all radial bearing mechanisms 17 are formed as a slide bearing mechanism, respectively. The respective radial slide bearing mechanisms 17 have plural peripheral face segments 26. The peripheral face segments 26 can be replaced individually one by one, and/or, can be automatically individually positioned to the drive rotation shaft one by one, during operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
