Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform correction without allowing a car body to make one revolution and to enhance accuracy by increasing the number of corrections, in the revolution of the car body, by performing the correction of an earth magnetism sensor on the basis of the revolving angle value calculated on the basis of an angular velocity detection value and the detection value of the earth magnetism sensor at the start and finish points of a revolving angle. CONSTITUTION:An operational control circuit 13 composed of a microcomputer has both functions of a revolving angle calculation means and a correction means. An earth magnetism sensor 11 outputs the output voltages Vx, Vy being two detection values proportional to respective magnetic components in two axis directions crossing each other at a right angle. In a revolving angle calculation means, when a car body is revolved, the revolving angle of the car body is calculated on the basis of the angular velocity signal Sdelta detected from a gyroscopic sensor 12. In a correction means, the output voltages Vx, Vy from the sensor 11 are corrected on the basis of the calculated revolving angle and the output voltage from the sensor 11 at the start and finish points of the revolving angle.
