Title:
AZO LAKE PIGMENT COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND PRINTING INK COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3914133
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an azo lake pigment composition useful for various coloring applications, affording an ink having excellent heat resistance, transparency, tinting strength, fluidity, or the like, when used for preparing, e.g. a printing ink, having a bright hue and scarcely coloring wastewater during flushing.
SOLUTION: The azo lake pigment is obtained by coupling a diazonium salt of an aromatic amine having a water-soluble group with β-naphthol or β-oxynaphthoic acid and carrying out laking after or simultaneously with the coupling. The azo lake pigment is prepared by substituting a part of the aromatic amine with an aniline derivative having a sulfonic acid group and an amide group or a sulfonamide group such as 4-amino-phthalimide-5-sulfonic acid or N',N'-diethyl-3-amino-4-methoxy-benzenesulfonamide-6-sulfonic acid.
