Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BOG compressor load control device of an LNG storage facility capable of reducing load on a worker in load control of a compressor, and performing load control of a BOG compressor so as to satisfy a request from gas consumption destination.SOLUTION: A BOG compressor load control device of an LNG storage facility includes: an LNG tank 1 configured to store liquefied natural gas; an evaporator 2 configured to guide the liquefied natural gas stored in the LNG tank 1, as evaporated gas, to a gas consumption destination; a BOG compressor 3 configured to pressurize boil-off gas occurring inside the LNG tank 1 and guide it together with the gas evaporated by the evaporator 2, to the gas consumption destination; and a controller 4 having a heat quantity calculation unit 4A configured to output, to the BOG compressor 3, a load command M based on comparison results between evaporated gas heat quantity Cof evaporated gas guided to the gas consumption destination and BOG heat quantity Cof boil-off gas, and request heat quantity Cof the gas consumption destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
