Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a back door drainage for an automobile, which prevents water from dropping down from a key cylinder even when a back door is opened.
CONSTITUTION: Since a cover plate 15 formed with a recessed section which is located below a key cylinder 14 in the inside of a back door 10 when the back door is opened, water ingressing through the cylinder when the door is opened, is once stored in the recessed section 17 of the cover plate, and water stored in the recessed section when the back door is closed and water which continues coming in through the key cylinder, are drained as they flow out to the outside of an automobile, so that water is surely prevented from dropping down inside the automobile.
