Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction of power consumption in the utilization of an inner battery at the time of the carrying of an electronic appliance by having two modes due to the different power supplying means to the electronic appliance when the inner battery of the electronic appliance is used. CONSTITUTION:It is necessary that driving time in the inner battery is prolonged when the inner battery of the electronic appliance such as a personal computer and a word processor is driven, and this back light mode can be switched to OFF and ON (weak). The light emission level of the ON (weak) is set to the usable minimum brightness and the brightness is fixed. On the other hand, in the back light mode at the time of the driving of AC 100V, only the ON (strong) is used. As the environment for using this mode, an AC receptacle is provided nearby, and the back light is strongly and brightly emitted, so that a demonstration effect at the shopwindow at the time of sale can be enhanced, for instance. Thus, the back light is emitted both when the driving of the inner battery and the AV 100V are drived and the driving time when the inner battery is drived is prolonged.
