PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized large-screen moving picture projector of high image quality which can be installed in a passenger cabin of an airplane.

CONSTITUTION: The moving picture projector 16 and a screen 18 having 1st and 2nd surfaces are installed in a housing 38, and a mirror 12 for reflecting light emitted from the projector to the screen surface is installed between the housing and the projector. The screen is made transparent so that an audience can view the picture projected on the 1st surface 20 of the screen. The mirror is arranged so that a distance between the projector and the upper end of the screen may become almost equal to a distance between the projector and the lower end of the screen. Besides, the mirror is placed so that the incident light may be projected in a direction vertical to the screen and also the picture may be projected downward toward the audience, even in the case of using an overhead projector.
