Abstract:
To provide a backing strip in which, an inclined plane is provided on each of both end parts of a backing strip main body, and by overlapping the inclined planes, a dimension holding a backing strip joint therebetween can be adjusted, and which has high assembly accuracy to a column.SOLUTION: A backing strip 1 is used by folding, a belt shaped metal plate and forming a rectangular frame shape by a pair, in the backing strip, for forming an inclined plane for joint which is inclined in a longitudinal direction on each of both ends in a longitudinal direction, a belt-shaped metal plate is cut in a width direction by a cutting machine in which an angle is set to a sharp angle greater than 35 degrees, then the metal plate is folded by another cutting machine, for forming a groove 3 in a thickness direction on an inside part of an R-shape, the groove being continuous in the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
