PURPOSE: To obtain the moderately glossy facing sheet, by using the backing plate for embossing which forms the uneven shape composed of the enameled part having the minute uneven state and the metal part on the surface of the substrate.

CONSTITUTION: The 20W300μ thick enamel frit is printed on the metal substrate 1 (preferably the decarburized steel for enameling) and 5W50μ particles 4 which are burnt out or contract in their volume during glazing process are blasted to the glazed part, and a part of the particle volume is embedded and attached. The minute uneven surface is formed on the enamel surface by making the particles 4 fall off after glazing enamel, and the metal part 6 is formed by plating the unenameled part 2, thus the backing plate for transfer embossing is obtained. The facing sheet 10 can be made to have minute concaves 8, 9 by this backing plate.
