Abstract:

To provide a lamp reflector having a low reflecting region, and a method of manufacturing the lamp reflector.

The lamp reflector 34 comprises a substrate 342 and a reflecting layer 344 arranged on the substrate 342. The reflecting layer 344 comprises an edge part 3422 and a region including the edge part 3422. The region is irradiated with laser to bring low light reflectivity to the region. A light guide plate 32 has a side edge 322 and a surface 324. The lamp reflector 34 covers the side edge 322 to direct the reflecting layer 344 to the side edge 322, and the region is generally in close contact with the surface. A light source is arranged between the reflecting layer 344 and the side edge 322.
