Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight module and its manufacturing method, increasing connection strength between a lamp holder and a frame to suppress the generation of uneven luminance or darklines, while reducing manpower and cost.
SOLUTION: The backlight module comprises: a frame; a lamp holder to be covered by the frame, having a first space, a second space, and a plurality of projections at a wall surface of the first space, such as mound-like projections and bar-like projections; a lamp disposed inside the first space of the lamp holder; and a light guide plate disposed inside the second space of the lamp holder and abutting on the fringe of the first space. The lamp holder having a plurality of projections is press-molded before inserted in a frame metallic mold for injection molding, obtaining a frame integrated with the lamp holder.
