Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent working data from being lost by backing up working environment before a power supply is suspended by a charging battery with a small capacity, when an backup power supply device for backing up a working environment in emergency is mounted into a compact information-processing device and an unpredictable power supply suspension status occurs.
CONSTITUTION: When a commonly used power supply is applied, a battery 3 is charged by a battery-charging part 2 with a DC power supply which is fed from a linear conversion rectifying part 1 and a power supply switch S is turned on. When the commonly used power supply is not applied, a DC/DC transducer 7 is operated by a power supply control part 6 and the DC power supply, charged to the battery 3 is DC/DC-converted and supplied to a main power supply feeding device 9, thus applying the power supply for backing up a working environment to a system by the main power supply feeding device 9.
