Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve processing capacity by uniformly cooling blood.
CONSTITUTION: A bag 18 is formed with a blood passage 31 meandering inside and stored in a case 17. The case 17 is constituted of a base plate 22 formed with aluminum or the like and a frame 23. The base plate 22 is connected to the cooling surface of an electronic cooling element that makes use of Peltier effect and cooled to a prescribed temperature when the blood 4 is cooled. A pressurizing plate 20 is fitted in the case 17 so as to be freely opened or closed and is made to pressurize the bag 18 when closed.
