Abstract:
To provide a bag-making machine and a horizontal pillow packaging machine that suppress packaging defects.SOLUTION: A bag-making machine 1, used in a horizontal pillow packaging machine 2, which packages an article 3 using a strip material 5, is located between an article feeder 4, which is located upstream and feeds the article 3 horizontally, and a suppression unit 8, which is located downstream and suppresses the article from above, and is located below a strip material feeder 6, which is located above, and through which the strip material 5 supplied from the strip material feeder 6 is inserted and two side edges 5a of the strip material are polymerized. The bag-making machine includes a bag-making machine body 14 having a ceiling member 16. The bag-making machine 1 includes a lifting member 15, which lifts the strip material 5 toward the ceiling member 16 in any area from an upstream entrance 14a of the bag-making machine body 14 to an upstream entrance of the suppression unit 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
