Abstract:
To provide a method for treating distilled liquor effluent at a low cost and for producing an excellent plant improvement composition; and to provide a plant improvement composition manufactured by the method and having improved effectiveness.SOLUTION: A method of producing a plant improvement composition comprises a step of providing seed fungi including lactic acid bacteria; a step of providing a mixture of distilled liquor effluent, a carbon source, and the seed fungi; a step of fermenting the mixture under conditions suitable for the growth of the lactic acid bacteria to obtain a fermented liquid; and a step of removing fibers from the fermented liquid to give a plant improvement composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
