Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance device of an internal combustion engine which can reduce stress acting on a contact face between guide grooves for guiding a rod and support shafts.SOLUTION: A balance device of an internal combustion engine comprises: a first wall part 9 opposing a first side face of a rod 7 at one side; a second wall part 10 opposing a second side face of the rod 7 at the other side; a first guide groove 13 which is formed at the first wall part 9 while being oriented toward a linear line direction in which a rotation center of a crankshaft 2 and a rotation center of a balance shaft 12 are connected to each other; a second guide groove 14 which is formed at the second wall part 10 while being oriented toward a linear line direction in which the rotation center of the crankshaft 2 and the rotation center of the balance shaft 12 are connected to each other; a first support shaft 17 which is integrated with the first side face, and whose tip is inserted into the first guide groove 13; and a second support shaft 18 which is integrated with the second side face, and whose tip is inserted into the second guide groove 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
