Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance device of an internal combustion engine which can suppress or avoid a change of a magnitude of a clearance formed at a rotation portion and a movable portion resulting from the non-uniform speed of a rotational speed of a balance shaft and a bending load acting on a rod.SOLUTION: A balance device of an internal combustion engine comprises: a balance shaft 6; an eccentric weight 7 which rotates integrally with the balance shaft 6; a rod 10 relatively rotatably connected to a position which is decentered from a rotation center 6a of a crankshaft 6 at one end part; slide grooves 18 which are formed toward a radial direction of the balance shaft 6 in a position opposite to a side of the eccentric weight 7 with the rotation center 6a of the balance shaft 6 sandwiched therebetween; and a first shaft part 17 which is inserted into the slide grooves 18, and protruded toward the balance shaft 6 at the other end part of the rod 10. A cushioning member 21 is arranged at a contact face between the first shaft part 17 and the slide groove 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
