Abstract:
To provide a balance training apparatus capable of moving with an appropriate acceleration even in an environment with a limited space.SOLUTION: The balance training apparatus comprises: a movable carriage; a calculation unit calculating the load center of gravity of both feet of a trainee; a control unit controlling the movement of the movable carriage on the basis of a control amount calculated from a displacement amount of the load center of gravity; and an acquisition unit acquiring a current position of the movable carriage. The control amount is calculated by a weighted average of a first control amount for reaching a target speed of the movable carriage, calculated from the displacement amount of the load center of gravity, and a second control amount for reaching a target position of the movable carriage, calculated from the displacement amount, and with reference to the weighted average, weighting of the first control amount is set to be larger than the second control amount when a current position exists inside a preset range including a reference position, and weighting of the second control amount is set to be larger than the first control amount when a current position exists outside the range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
