Abstract:
To suppress a motion which turns in a direction orthogonal to a vertical direction, in an in-line cylinder internal combustion engine having four crank bent parts.SOLUTION: A crankshaft 4 has first and second crank bent parts 4a, 4b which are arranged at the same angles in a rotation direction of the crankshaft 4, a third crank bent part 4c which is arranged while being displaced by an angle of 120° with respect to the crank bent parts 4a, 4b, and a fourth crank bent part 4d which is arranged while being displaced by an angle of 120°with respect to the third crank bent part 4c. A balancer shaft 11 has a first balancer weight 14a arranged in a center position between the first and second crank bent parts 4a, 4b, and also arranged while being displaced by an angle of 30°in a rotation direction of the balancer shaft 11 from an upper-side cross point 39 between a lower-side circle 38 and a vertical axis, and a second balancer weight 14bc which is arranged while being displaced by an angle within a range equal to or larger than an angle of 150°, and smaller than an angle of 180°from the first balancer weight 14a in a rotation direction of the balancer shaft 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
