A nut 17 held by a nut bracket 16 is constituted of an annular flange plate 32 bolted to the nut bracket 16, a cylindrical nut body 33 engaged through a number of balls in a ball rolling groove formed at the outer peripheral face of a screw shaft 18, and a plurality of pressing springs 34 pressing the nut body 33 onto the flange plate 32, and a concaved spherical face 36 and a convexed spherical face 35 mutually engaged together are formed at the confronting end face of the flange plate 32 and the nut body 33.
