Title:
BALLOON CATHETER APPARATUS AND UNIT FOR TEMPERATURE DETECTION THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3848122
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accuracy in temperature detection from being lowered due to a high-frequency potential difference.
SOLUTION: An electrode 3 for high-frequency heating inside a balloon 2 attached on the catheter body 1 of a catheter is heated by high-frequency electrification between the electrode 3 and an external electrode 26. Lead wires 24 and 13 for high-frequency supply to the electrode 3 is also used as one lead wire in thermocouple 4, and one lead wire 13 and a lead wire 14 in the thermocouple 4 are connected in a prescribed branched portion 16. Capacitors 41 and 42 are connected to wiring 13 and 14. Wiring 51 and 52 communicated to a temperature detector 55 is branched from a connection parts 51a or 52a on the side of the thermocouple 4 rather than the capacitors 41 and 42 in wiring 13 and 14. A coil 61 or 62 is connected to wiring 51 and 52. Since the connection parts 51a and 52a are made into the same potential in the manner of high-frequency, in the state of no high-frequency potential difference, a direct current from the thermocouple 4 is inputted to the temperature detector 55.
