Abstract:
To provide a balloon guide catheter.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a balloon guide catheter including a substantial tubular body, an inflation lumen, and a balloon. The tubular body may include an inside hollow lumen and a distal end part. The inflation lumen may have a distal end, and a proximal section. The distal end of the inflation lumen may be proximal to the distal end of the tubular body and may be coupled to the tubular body. The proximal section of the inflation lumen can extend by most of a length of the tubular body, and may be movable to the tubular body. The inflation lumen can be arranged in the inside hollow lumen of the tubular body of the catheter or on outside of the tubular body, and therefore flexibility of the catheter can be enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
