The bamboo product is made of the bamboo smoked in a smoke atmosphere containing a superheated steam, a wind instrument, a lead or a percussion instrument made of the bamboo smoked in the smoke atmosphere containing the superheated steam, a stringed instrument using the bamboo smoked in the smoke atmosphere containing the superheated steam as a member of a resonance box, a tableware or a fishing tackle made of the bamboo smoked in the smoke atmosphere containing the superheated steam or a musical instrument made of a composite material of a carbonized bamboo and a resin. Further, the method for manufacturing the bamboo material for the musical instrument comprises the step of smoking the bamboo in the smoke atmosphere containing the superheated steam.
