Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an axial direction shrinkage of a spiral tube used as a lining over the inner surface of a sewage pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A band-form body 10 for a spiral pipe has at part of base board 12 an elongation part 17 made of an elastic material, which can elongate in the direction across the width of the base board 12. When this band-form body 10 is wound into spiral, an adjacent ridge for fitting 13 is fitted in a groove 15 provided at one of the side edge. When this spiral pipe is inserted into a sewer pipe, glides of the groove 15 and ridge 13 are prevented, and the fitted part of the groove 15 and ridge 13 is glided from one of the ends after insertion through the sewer pipe to result in dia. enlargement. The axial direction shrinking force generated at this time in the spiral pipe is absorbed by elongation of the elongation part 17 of the band-form body 10.
