Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fold band seedlings tightly in an orderly arranged manner in parallel by setting up in a specific mode a pair of left and right folding rollers to introduce band seedlings in between.
CONSTITUTION: The lower part of an elevation feeder 11 is provided with a pair of left and right folding rollers 21a, 21b to be put to reciprocating motion left and right. Both the ends of the reciprocating movement channel are provided with a raising guide designed to guide a preceding folding roller obliquely upward outside, and the following folding roller is made to descend at the ends of said channel. The preceding roller presses already folded band seedlings, while the following roller puts fallingly fed band seedlings on the bent parts of the band seedlings pressed by the preceding roller.
