Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band-shaped conductor for a flexible flat cable (FFC), or the like that can realize excellent fatigue resistance characteristics (flex resistance) while maintaining electrical resistance within an allowable range comparing to a conventional conductor for an FFC by optimizing a cross sectional shape of a band-shaped conductor made of copper or copper alloy.SOLUTION: A band-shaped conductor 1 for an FFC of the present invention is made of copper or copper alloy, has a slender shape in which a conductor width Wc has a larger size than a conductor thickness tc seen at a cross section when the conductor is cut off at a flat surface perpendicular to a longitudinal direction, and the conductor 1 has a conductor thickness on a width end part of at 97% or less of an average conductor thickness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
