PURPOSE: To provide a firm product having a hardly vanishing pattern by closely sticking and laminating a top coat layer of a transparent material made of a plastic resin, woven fabric of carbon fibers beneath it, and a band core layer in sequence to form the whole or part of a band for a wrist watch.

CONSTITUTION: Patterned woven fabric 1b made of carbon fibers impregnated with a soft resin is closely stuck to a top coat layer 1a made of a transparent material. A band core material 2 is laminated as the underlayer of the woven fabric 1b made of carbon fibers. Such lamination is repeated prescribed times. The same resin material as the band core material 2 or one compatible with it is used for the resin to be impregnated into the carbon fiber woven fabric 1b. The laminated sheet-like band material is pressed into a band shape, and finally a whole outer periphery of the band is covered with a transparent material to form the top coat layer 1a. Hole sections of the band are reinforced against cracks, the quality feeling of the pattern of the woven fabric is improved, and the pattern is prevented from vanishing.
