Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop only a part of motors and drastically reduce costs for a control mechanism when a large number of banknotes accumulate in a banknote conveyance path.
SOLUTION: In a banknote conveying device, each banknote receiving machine 1 is connected in parallel via a communication line 5 to a system control part 4, a banknote detecting device 21 is provided at each banknote conveying unit 10, any detection of accumulation of banknotes is sent to the system control part 4, the system control part 4 displays a banknote accumulated position and stops all motors 9 for units upstream than the point where the banknote accumulated while operates the downstream motor 9 for unit so that the downstream banknotes are conveyed to a stacker 3.
