To efficiently acquire a plurality of data of the same paper money in a paper money processor which processes the paper money.

At first, (a) the paper money processor acquires a first identification data in a first state on a direction of the paper money by scanning a face of a predetermined side of the paper money thrown in from a receiving opening of the paper money processor with predetermined direction. Then after the process (a), (b) the paper money processor rotates the paper money 180° around the first direction to the paper money. After the process (b), (c) the paper money processor acquires a second identification data in a second state on a direction of the paper money by scanning a face of a predetermined side of the rotated paper money. After the process (c), (d) the paper money processor conveys the paper money to a dispensing opening of the paper money processor.
