Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banknote processing device for achieving energy saving by reducing the power consumption of each bundling material heating part.SOLUTION: A banknote processing device includes: an accumulation part 151 for accumulating banknotes for each banknote type; a bundling part 152 for extracting a predetermined number of banknotes to wind thermally adhesive bands, and for carrying out thermal adhesion by using a bundling material heating part 52; a transaction destination-categorized setting storage part 80 for storing the transaction destinations of banknotes to be processed and heating start accumulation number in the case of starting to heat the bundling material heating part 52 to a thermal adhesion enabling temperature in association; and a control part 180 for, when the accumulation number of banknotes reaches a heating start accumulation number stored in the transaction destination-categorized setting storage part 80, starting the supply of power to the bundling material heating part 52 of the corresponding bundling part 152 to heat the bundling material heating part 52 to the thermal adhesion enabling temperature, and for, when the thermal adhesion is completed, stopping the supply of power to the bundling material heating part 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
