Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money processor which automatically arranges paper moneys in the same direction concerning front/rear sides and top/bottom sides to classify and accumulate all paper moneys in the same direction. SOLUTION: The paper money processor 1 is provided with an attitude correction device 20 which corrects the attitude of carrying of a paper money P taken onto a carrying line 12 from a throwing-in part 4, a detection part 30 which detects features such as the front or rear side, the top or bottom side, the denomination, the normal/damaged state of the paper money of which the attitude has been corrected, a front/rear side inverting mechanism 34 which selectively turns out the paper money on the basis of the detection result in the detection part 30, a top/bottom side inverting mechanism 40 which selectively rotates the paper money at 180 deg., and accumulation parts 54 and 61 to 64 which arrange all paper moneys in the same direction to accumulate them by denominations. The paper money P taken out from the throwing-in part 4 is turned out and/or rotated at 180 deg. on the basis of the detection result in the detection part 30 to automatically arrange all paper moneys P in the same direction.
