Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bar coating apparatus and a bar coating method by which uniform coating surface quality is obtained particularly even when a coating objective material having a rough surface in surface roughness is transported at high speed.
SOLUTION: The transporting time until an aluminum web 14 is brought into contact with a measuring bar 16B after being in contact with a previous adhering bar 16A is controlled to ≤0.25 sec. As a result because the reproduction or the growth of entrained air between the previous adhering bar 16A and the measuring bar 16B is prevented even in the aluminum web 14 having the rough surface in surface roughness, the uniform coating surface quality is obtained.
