Title:
BAR-CODE MARKING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02211591
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decide the quality of a bar-code brought to marking to an object by comparing bar-code data with bar-code data stored in a memory by a controller of a system and detecting its coincidence/noncoincidence.

CONSTITUTION: Marking data is inputted from a keyboard to a controller 3 using a computer of a system, and input data is converted to bar-code data. In this case, a bar-code pattern is stored in advance in a memory 4, and the controller 3 refers to the bar-code pattern. The bar-code data obtained in such a way is stored in the memory 4, and the controller 3 sends the bar-code data to a marker 1 using a laser marker and commands a start of marking. The marker 1 which receives the bar-code data executes marking to a product. Subsequently, the bar-code data sent from a scanner and the stored bar-code data are compared and by its result, the quality of the bar-code is discriminated.
