A groove 72a with the depth R2 is formed at a position 72 being the approximate center of a face (b) at a place of a prescribed length R1 from the tip face 70 of a scale 18 for length measurement toward the right-angled cross-sectional direction of the scale 18 for length measurement. Further, a groove 73a is formed toward the right-angled cross-sectional direction of the scale 18 for length measurement from a position 73 being the approximate center of the other face (a) so as to penetrate the groove 72a. A groove 71a is formed from a position 71 of the tip face 70 of the scale 18 for length measurement to the groove 73a in parallel to the length direction of the scale 18 for length measurement. A light source 71b, a battery 72b, and a power supply switch 73b are respectively inserted and arranged to the respective grooves 71a, 72a, and 73a at the respective positions 71, 72, and 73 of the tip part 70 of the scale 18 for length measurement into the T-shaped communicating groove 75.
