Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier-free vestibule chair which is easy to use and simple, and not overturned even when an aged person is seated or stands up. SOLUTION: This barrier-free chair 1 used at a vestibule having a floor and a dirt floor 102 partitioned by a vestibule rail is simply formed with a horizontally long rectangular solid. Its top plate 3 is formed into a seat face having no projection, and it has spaces for seating and supporting with both hands. An eaves 8 holdable by the aged person liable to lose balance is stretched only on the front edge of the top plate 3 to be easily used for seating and standing. An overturn preventing ground section 10 stretched more than the stretched quantity of the eaves 8 is provided only below the front edge of a side plate to prevent the overturn of the chair.
