PURPOSE: To execute opening and closing operations of a barrier by transferring a movement of an operating member provided separately from the barrier, to the barrier through an adsorbing member, so that an operator's finger, etc. do not touch a photographing lens by mistake in the course f opening and closing operations of the barrier, and also it is prevented that the barrier, etc. are broken by careless external force.

CONSTITUTION: When an operating knob 8 is slid from a barrier opened state, a spring arm 9a turns a transfer pin 4c clockwise, by which a barrier 4 moves in each closing direction. Subsequently, the barrier 4 holds its closed state by energizing force of a barrier spring 6. Also, in accordance with slide of the operating knob in this case, a release lock mechanism which is not in the figure operates and inhibits release of a camera in the barrier closed state. In this regard, elastic force of the spring arm 9a of an absorbing member 9 is set larger in advance than energizing force of the barrier spring 6.
