PURPOSE: To obtain the laminated base cloth for a sheet coated with a resin which is little in stich deviation and a stich curve and excellent in workability by stich-tying many yarn lines arrayed to the biaxial directions of warp and weft with leno yarn contg. the yarn line formed of the component of hot melt resin and forming composite cloth and heat-treating this composite cloth to melt and join it by a stich.
CONSTITUTION: Many warps and wefts are arrayed to the biaxial directions and tied by the stich of leno yarn to form composite cloth. Then the yarn line formed of the component of hot melt resin is utilized for one part or all parts of leno yarn which ties the warps and the wefts by stichs. The composite cloth is formed by tying warps and wefts with the stichs. As this hot melt resin, polyester, polyamide, polyvinyl butyral, acrylic resin, a polyethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethyleneacrylic acid ester copolymer and polyurethane resin, etc., are shown. Then the composite cloth is heat-treated to melt the component of hot melt resin. When warps and wefts are melted and joined by stichs, the three parties of warps, wefts and leno yarn are bonded and joined. Stich deviation and a stich curve are made difficult to be caused and workability at a time of resin coating work can be improved in some degrees.
