Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a lightweight and thin-walled polyester base cup excellent in strength and manufacturing method thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The subject base cup is produced by biaxial stretch blow molding a bottomed cylindrical polyester parison so as to form an intermediate formed body 2 consisting of a mouth part 21, a conical shoulder part 22, a cylindrical barrel part 23 and a bottom part 24 having a pounding part 23 in the order named and finally cutting off the mouth part side at the upper end part C of the barrel part 23 of the intermediate formed body 2 in order to obtain the subject base cup.
