To provide a height-adjustable base which uses X-shaped crossing legs and enables the crossing legs to be turned without the use of a pivotally attached member such as a pin.
A pair of almost flat leg pieces is fitted into each other via a plurality of inner groove parts provided in the central parts of the leg pieces, and joined together in a combined state, so as to serve as leg portions crossing each other in an X shape. The crossing legs are bent upward and downward at predetermined positions from both ends of them, respectively. A plurality of V-shaped grooves, which are formed orthogonally to the plurality of inner groove parts provided in the central parts of the leg pieces, and a bent corner part of the leg piece are engaged with each other, so as to hold the leg parts crossing each other in the X shape, and the height of the leg part can be adjusted between a plurality of stages.
