To provide the excellent characteristic of temperature dependency and permanent set in fatigue in a base isolation rubber layered product formed by alternately laying hard plates and rubber layers by using deproteinized natural rubber or a rubber composition obtained by blending the deproteinized natural rubber and the natural rubber having the equal weight to the weight of the deproteinized natural rubber or less as the rubber material.
A base isolation rubber layered product suitably used for support piers of a bridge is formed by building plural metal plates 14 as a hear plate having rigidity in a rubber block 12 with the predetermined space, and formed into the layered structure forming the rubber layers 16 between the metal plates 14, 14. As the rubber material to be used, the deproteinized natural rubber or a blend of the deproteinized natural rubber and the predetermined quantity or less of the natural rubber is used, the temperature dependency of the elastic characteristic is restricted and the permanent compression set is restricted by using the deproteinized natural rubber as an essential component. 1-50 pts.wt. of asphalt tar and pitch are included at need to 100 pts.wt. of the rubber material.
