Abstract:

To easily provide optimum friction characteristics and slide characteristics by using an existing slide bearing, in a base isolation structure using the slide bearing.

Two or more kinds of slide bearings 1-1 and 1-2 different in a friction factor are disposed between an object A to be base isolated, such as a building, and a support structural body B, such as a lower foundation, to constitute a base isolation structure. The slide bearing 1-1 having high friction factor and the slide bearing 1-2 having a low friction factor are disposed in a proper support weight ratio α, and the object to be base-isolated of the building is supported by the slide bearing. A friction factor responding to the support weight ratio α on a whole is obtained and an optimum friction force not obtained by an existing slide bearing is obtained by the existing slide bearing.
