Abstract:
To provide a base isolation tool capable of more reliably preventing oscillation of an installation surface from being transmitted to a base isolation target due to an earthquake or the like.SOLUTION: A base isolation tool 1 is mounted to each of leg parts 200 provided on the four corners of a storage shelf 2 such as a steel rack, and is interposed between the storage shelves 2 and an installation surface 3 on which the storage shelf 2 is installed. The base isolation tool 1 has: a synthetic resin plate-shaped body 10 in which a mounting surface 101 on which the leg parts 20 of the storage shelf 2 are mounted is formed on an upper surface 100, and a sliding surface 103 sliding on the installation surface 3 is formed on a lower surface 102; and a plurality of cutout parts 105 formed in an edge part 104 of the sliding surface 103 corresponding to a corner α of the storage shelf 2 to which the base isolation tool 1 is attached to the leg part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
