PURPOSE: To obtain a base material for an inner illuminating-type signboard excellent in contamination resistance and adhesion property with a marking film by laminating a fluorocarbon resin film on at least one surface of a thermoplastic resin coating film with an adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: A fluorocarbon resin film 4 having hydrophilic functional groups is laminated with an adhesive on at least one outer surface of a laminated sheet which consists of a synthetic fiber cloth and a thermoplastic resin coating film 3 formed on at least one surface of this cloth. As for the fluorocarbon resin film 4, polyvinylfluoride resin, polyvinylidene fluoride resin, tetrafluoroethylene resin and copolymers of these may be used, and especially, polyvinylfluoride resin (copolymer resin) is preferable. Hydrophilic functional groups can be added to the resin by treating the film surface with plasma, corona discharge or UV radiation, and especially, plasma treatment is preferable.
